The Nusole Cup powered by Nusole Presents is the sporting offering of the brand. Using the universal language which is football, The Nusole Cup represents like-minded individuals coming together as a community for an afternoon of competitive football, music and food. Moreover, the event seeks to encourage healthy lifestyles and wellbeing.

Taking place, a stone’s throw away from the Etihad stadium, the 25 + degrees weather created the perfect atmosphere for the men’s ‘corporate’ 7 aside tournament. Bursting with vibrancy the event was powered by resident DJ’ Eti Congo and host Nusole Neef. Keeping players fuelled on the day was sponsors Red Bull and Pull Up bar café who provided refreshments and the very best in Caribbean cuisine.

With staff team entries from the likes of JD Sports, Manchester United Foundation and Stretford Paddock to name a few the Nusole Cup delivered football of the highest quality, officiated by FA licenced referees.

Adam McKola – Stretford Paddock said: “Thank you to Nusole for having us. It was absolutely popping off. The food, the drink, the music and obviously the football as well. It was a real good vibe.”

Reflecting on his experience of the day Danny Milen – JNS Football stated: “We entered a staff team into the corporate tournament, such a memorable day. The set up was unique and different to any other football tournament we’ve ever seen and we visit 20/30+ per season. We’ll definitely be back”.

Following a fiercely fought group stage involving all 10 teams, semi-final and subsequent final Manchester United Foundation were crowned Nusole Cup champions for 2021. To wrap up proceedings a podium presentation took place with winners handed a trophy, medals and goody bags courtesy of sponsors Benir Clo. And Gripd.
